Marimbox is a virtual instrument that faithfully recreates the sound of an acoustic marimba.
Recorded with multiple mallet types and playing techniques, Marimbox combines high-fidelity samples with a custom playback engine and built-in effects to deliver the warm wooden tones of the real instrument right into your DAW.
Features:
- Choose between five articulations: Cord, Deadstroke, Roll, Rubber, and Yarn.
- Switch articulations on the fly with MIDI keyswitching, mapped right below the playable range, or click the articulation selector in the interface.
- All samples are high-fidelity stereo recordings embedded into the plugin.
- The Roll articulation uses sample-accurate crossfaded loops to deliver natural infinite sustain.
- Add space to your sound with the built-in reverb, adjustable from small rooms to large halls.
- Create rhythmic echoes with the BPM-synced delay, automatically locked to your host tempo across multiple beat divisions.
- Shape your sound with Attack and Release controls, and manage polyphony with up to 64 voices.
